We are learning to add and subtract numbers using place value.
For this week and last week we have been learning how to workout Addition and Subtraction math problems using the place value chart. We are using up to six digits for our place value sums. I think working out the sums using the place value chart is probably the easiest way of working them out.

It is great to see that you are progressing in maths. I enjoyed reading your paragraph about adding and subtracting place values. My class is doing something similar but we're adding and subtracting fractions. Did you have any challenges throughout learning this strategy?
