Glen Innes school really enjoyed visiting your school seeing all of the year 13 students come and introduce yourselves to us and taking us for a lot of nice sport to learn and to do. We loved it when every time we finish doing all the sports you handed out some nice, fresh and cold ice - blocks and the drinks, we all were happy. We enjoyed the last  trip day to your school. I liked it when we did rob the nest and when we did hockey, because I liked it when I keep whacking the ball. On the first day we came I liked the last sport game we played because I like the person that was teaching us and playing with us, and the person was TK. TK is the best because he is smart, funny and cool. The last day was awesome, and my favourite two parts of the day was when we were swimming and trying to find those sticks, and my second favourite part was when we had to get a sausage sizzle. When we were about to go into the bus I liked it when a student from your school said a speech to tell us goodbye and Vasa from our school said a speech to say thank you, but It was cool when you gave us a ICE - BLOCK !!!

When it was time to go we walked happily into the bus, but it was so sad, and so we will all miss you guys very very much as we all say THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR THAT AWESOME FUN DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Fizz

Making fizz 25 March 2014

Today we made sherbert, a lollie that fizzes in the mouth.

First we mixed the lemon juice and the washing powder. Then we added the icing sugar. The last two ingredients were the baking soda and cordial. Finally we mixed all the ingredients together.

When our teacher allowed us to taste the mixture, it began to fizz in our mouth. This was because we mixed.

This was the best fizz experiment we had in the class.

This week I have read the story birthday party from the school journal. This story is about a girl named  Tana, she is turning 10 years old and she wanted  to have a birthday party. She has been planning for her birthday to come for a long time and finally it has happened. She always wanted to have a party.

I like the character called Tana, because she is having a party and I like parties.

Hi I am a girl, and I am 10 years old.  My name is Sina.  I live in the beautiful suburb of Glen Innes , in Auckland, New Zealand.  I go to a nice school in our area called Glen Innes I am proud of my Green T-shirt  and black shorts uniform and wear it daily to school.

I have dark brown eyes, and Brown and black hair.  Sometimes I colour my hair brown .     

The things I like doing at school are maths , spelling ,writing , and art .  Going swimming everyday is soooo cool.   I also love writing and updating my blog every week.. It is cool to see so many people from all over the world reading my writing.

Like all the students in my class, I like food.  I enjoy eating Hot chips , pies ,   ice blocks, and drinks, but my favourite is hot chips .

I have many friends at school too.  In school we go outside to talk, walk and play on the grass love talking with my best friend, Lana   Sometime we get together after school for a game of basketball and

Glen Innes is a Nice place to be in.

I learnt how to put a picture of myself into another picture.

I learnt how to screenshot a picture and then paste the picture in a document.

I learnt how to make a document in my google drive.

My teacher showed me lots of things too.

I learnt how to make a picture graph and a line graph.

I learnt how to copy and paste writings.

I learnt how to work  out hard strategies on the math games that we have to do.

By myself, I learnt how to open a new tab. I also learnt how to change the desktop picture. I can also use the camera.

I learnt how to use caps lock on my own and do apostrophe and full stops too.

I learnt how to post nice comments on my blog and paste pictures too from Mrs Grant.

I helped my friend win math games on studyladder.

I helped my friend do hard work on google drive.

best day ever

BEST DAY EVER

My best day ever was with my cousins and friends. It was the coolest day because, we were playing all day. We were playing water balloon fights we had a big as feed. The feed was yum as.

The first thing we played was water balloon fights then we done some push up contests and last of all we did some wrestling.

Second of all we ate. We ate some chicken and chips with sausage sticks, banana cake with a little chocolate and cream it was fantastic and yummy.

Last of all we had a competition with our dogs. We had to get our dogs and puppies to run up the driveway come back down and run around the house and come back. My cousins dog won and my cousin was so happy. And again that was the best day ever in the world.

Today , after morning tea all the classes went to the hall it was a very exciting day because Mr Hendricks told us some exciting news. He told us 3 people from the Warriors are coming we all were so happy we couldn't believe it. After a while, a lady called alisyn came and told us about rheumatic fever then she introduced a man called Awen Guttenbeil. Awen Guttenbeil had rheumatic fever when he was 9 years old. He really wanted to go and play rugby but he couldn’t. Now it was the exciting part, the warriors came and people were shocked with excitement. It was Ben, simon and last of all Sione. They went up the stage Mea and Elizabeth was pretending to be the teacher and mea was being the nurse and they told sione to come and do a throat swab. He went and he done the throat swab we all said ah and he said ahh too.
